If you want to copy the files (both database and log) from computer 1 to computer 2 to these steps: 1. Make a full backup of the database on Computer 1 2. Copy the .bak file to Computer 2 3. Open SQL Server on computer 2 and do a restore using the .bak file as the source. The SQL wizard is pretty easy, but if you need more detailed instructions let me know. Once you have the SQL database restored you can link to the tables using an ODBC connection.
