[MS_AccessPros] From Screen to Add or Edit screen

 

I have a screen called frmHohSearch which has the following unbound fields on it:

txtLastName

txtFirstName

txtPhone

txtSSN

cmdNext

When in use, the user will fill out one or all the fields and then click the cmdNext button. I need to lookup in a table called tblHeadOfHousehold (primary key HohID) by whatever criteria that was entered on the frmHohSearch, if a record is found I need to open a form called frmHoHDetails in edit mode with the record found. If multiple records are found I would like to pop a msg box listing the multiple values and probably a way to select the record they want to edit.

If a record was not found I need to open the form frmHoHdetails in add mode.
