Hi Liz,
you might also consider the ON ENTER event of the subform control. The active form is still the main form ... but getting ready to change

Ah – nevermind. I decided to use the current event of the form. It's working better.

Pros, I have 2010, and am trying to run a simple procedure and need it to run when the subform gets the focus. However, It doesn't seem to be triggering this event. Has anyone seen this happen? My google searches are yielding nothing.
Respectfully,
