[MS_AccessPros] MS SQL Server "BAK" bloated file size

Hi,

Although it's not MS-Access question but hopefully experts can still help.

I created a backup file of my MS SQL 2012 ( not Express Edition ) database  on PC1.

The file size of BAK file was 531MB.

Then copied that BAK file on PC2 that had MS SQL 2012 Express Edition.

Restore the database from the BAK file.

Then immediately created BAK from that newly created DB on PC2.

Surprisingly, the new BAK file size was 3GB.

Can someone please educate me why the newly BAK file is way too big?
