Re: [MSAccessProfessionals] Family member tracking.

Art,

So I am thinking out loud here. it would be like one class to many students or one dwelling to many household members. so maybe a table with the dwelling ID as a foreign key in the HH member table

That is why I am asking for help. That could very well happen. But it is also understood that people living with the tenant may not be related but they need to be accounted for.

Art,

What would happen if you had 2 HH members? Both on the lease or rental agreement and they are not related?

I need to set up a couple of table in which I track a primary tenant information but also need to track their household members. I thought of a main tblTenant for the Primary tenant (tenant Head of Household) and a table tblHHMembers to track the household members but that seems to me that would be redundant information because we need to track SSN, Relationship, DOB, etc for each member just like we do for the Primary Tenant. Have you seen any example of this or have any ideas?

Thank you,
