bringing back that many records to the desktop will result in slow performance. Better would be to do as Duane suggested to show the records that are possible to edit using a pass-through query -- and then a command button or some other way to trigger a particular record to be edited.

I'm making this reply using the web interface to see if I can find the "small icon that looks like a speech bubble" that Duane mentioned to include past messages. So far, I don't see anything ... maybe it depends on the browser or application being used to view messages ...
