Re: [MSAccessProfessionals] How to secure Front End

Hi Khalid,

Are you suggesting your client don't get a copy of the source code? Then all they should need is the FE accde. You can password protect your VBA with instructions from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2010/06/28/power-tip-password-protect-your-vba-project/.

Subject: [MSAccessProfessionals] How to secure Front End

Hi every one!
Up to now i have been giving my client .accde file, if any changes or updation were required i used to get BE from client and then update or change application at my end, then returning him updated .accde and BE taken from him. I was told by seniors in group to give to your client .accde along with FE. But i never did that, because i don't know how to secure my FE. Long ago John gave me some code and told the way how to manage it but unfortunately i lost them.
Now it is requested that i need complete help in this regard, how to manage this all so that my client work with .accde and he has no access to my code in FE, in fact he may not see anything in FE.
Help in this regard would be highly appreciated. (I'm using 32 bit version of office 2019 now).
Thanks, Khalid.
