Arthur-
Simplest way to open a file by launching the associated app (as long as you have the full path to the file) is:
Application.FollowHyperlink <variable containing path>

I have a database in which I store the path and file name in a table called tbl_documents. I need a way to display or launch these files in their native applications or even just view them on a form. I figured out how display an image file but am having a bad time trying to get it work with PDF, WORD, EXCEL files. Any ideas would be great.
I incorporated the sample database that I found here called Load Picture sample. This is basically the functionality I want for Word, Excel, PDF files if possible.
