Re: [MS_AccessPros] Changing or creating a Date/Time format

The default format for date/time fields is Short Date, and that inherits the format from the system International settings.  If you get your company's Windows gurus to do a blanket change to everyone's date format setting in Windows, you have nothing to do.  If not, then you have to go to every table that has a date/time field and override with a custom dd-mm-yy setting.

The company I am working for has changed the requirement for how the date looks to (dd-mm-yy).  How can I change or create this as an option in Date/Time?  I need this so the formating I created will not have to change.  As of right now, I had to go and change the field to short text instead of Date/Time.  Can anyone help with this?
