RE: [MS_AccessPros] Getting Error on Form Close

Duane,

The purpose of the main form is to select the Job Code you are looking up the required licenses and certifications needed for that particular position.  The sub-form’s purpose is to display the list of required licenses and certifications for the selected Job Code.  Do you have a better recommendation to filter and display this data?

Thanks,

Bill

Bill,

What is the purpose of the main form? Is it bound to a parent table? Is it bound to any table? If the main form isn't for editing or viewing a parent table, it should be unbound (no record source).

If the combo box is used only to select a record for filtering the subform, it should not have a control source (should be unbound),
