Re: [MS_AccessPros] Require balance on each row of report

Hi All,
Thanks Duane, you are right we have to move like a team and be in touch with each other. I'm sorry for me previous way of communication. That is absolutely marvellous Duane.

Now only one thing is left in it although its right, if you see the image under Consignment No 2013-B-10 there is only one blank row under column Packages Delivered its null value as no packages have been delivered yet for this Consignment, therefore in Totals: sum of packages Delivered is  a null value and Packages Balance (Text60) is also a null value, which is:

Text58 Control Source: =[Count Of CartonNo]
Text59 Control Source: =Sum([NoOfCartons])
Text60 Control source:  =[Text58]-[Text59]

so can i get here digit "Zero" also if i have some other Consignment No with the same situation.
I am uploading new image after making changes which you suggested and worked.

Thanks a lot.
Khalid

Khalid,

Consider not addressing questions to a specific individual. Thank the individual and ask help from the team.

Try create a text box [txtDelivRunSum] in the detail section with a control source of PackagesDelivered and set it's Running Sum property to over group. This will show values of: 24, 30.

Then use a text box under the Packages Balance column with a Control Source of:
=[Your header balance text box] - txtDelivRunSum
