Thanks Duane, if I use the double-quote EmployeeID & " - " & LastName in the Select clause, it generates an error 13 Type Mismatch, until I changed it to a single-quote.

 

 There's a Select Statement example in my SQL book also showing using a pair of single quote but not double. If I remember correctly, I think I have used double-quote in my other applications and it worked. Why is that?
