RE: [MS_AccessPros] Access 365 64 bit

To my knowledge, 64-bit Access still has problems with 32-bit databases. Microsoft advises against using 64-bit Office unless it is needed for very complex spreadsheets. Office 32-bit is still the software used by most companies. I'd stick with that if you have a choice.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Access 365 64 bit

When Office 64 bit came out, there were a lot of problems with Access using older databases, if I remember correctly.

I just ran into a problem where I had to run a repair on Office 365 and it deleted all my programs because ti found some conflict between 32-bit and 64-bit where it wanted me to install the 64-bit version.

Does Access 64 bit still have problems with older databases?
