Greg,
Please share your SQL view of the query.
Does the query return records if you remove the parameter?
Does the query return records if you hard-code a value in place of the parameter?
Is the control on your form a combo box?
Regards,
Duane

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Querying From a Form Parameter
Hi Access Professionals!
I am having trouble returning a value from a query when referencing the criteria from an open form. The criterion parameter is a short text and so is the return field. I used the MS Access builder to build the query but nothing returns. Has it something to do with declaring parameters?
I appreciate your help.
Thanks and Regards,
Greg Rule

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.
