Re: [MS_AccessPros] Thanks Crystal! found something you wrote 2 years ago.

hi James and Liz,

thank you. I've updated this page:

http://www.msaccessgurus.com/articles.htm

with an INDEX for articles about Microsoft Access published in Strategic Finance Magazine

so far, there are 27 of them ... and more to come ~

If you, or anyone, has any comments, I would enjoy hearing them.

have an awesome day,
crystal

Very nice, Crystal! If you think about it and have the time, a note posted here when those new articles come out would send me—and maybe others!—scurrying to have a look. 😄

You too Crystal. Good stuff. The biggest takeaway for me was that I actually had to choose the chart before I could go in and change it to a stacked type. Also, recently I've begun using VBA in excel. I created a pareto plus tool so that automatically creates a pareto chart on pasted data, you input X and Y (if Y is a sum and not a qty) and does a prediction in pie format. Respectfully, Liz Ravenwood

hi Liz,

thanks! in Jan 2016, I began writing articles for SFmagazine and started
with charting. Recently made a page on my website so the articles are
easier to find (for me too!) ... haven't gotten too far, and April isn't
there yet, but the 3 that came before it are:

http://www.msaccessgurus.com/articles.htm

In case you didn't notice, there is usually a sample database you can
download -- link at end of article.

btw, the article next month (April 2018) begins showing how to use Excel
functions in Access. I will do a few issues on that topic since there is
much to cover.

have an awesome day,
crystal
