Re: [MS_AccessPros] Report name in report footer

Works for me in Access 2016. I used a control source of:

Control Source: =[Name]

Steve-

Works for me in 2010, and I get a similar display when I enter the Control Source.  Just click on Name, and it should end up looking like:

=[Report].[Name]

.. and that works to display the report name.

Thank you John, but . . .

Tried your advice in both the page footer and report footer with same results: I enter "=Report.Name" and immediately there appears three boxes below the Control Source line in the property sheet. The left box is a green, button looking thing. The middle box is the word Name with a blue fill. The right box reads Report Property. Clicking off the control source field empties the control source field and the three boxes go away.

What to do? Using Access 2016.

Try putting a text box with a Control Source like this:

=Report.Name

How do I display the report name in the report footer (other than just
typing the report name into a label field)? Can I use a text field and
somehow set its value to the name of the report?

Thanks.
