If you form is based on a query, one problem may be the query is incorrect.

Steve-

First, it sounds like you're opening it in Data Entry mode - which positions you on a new record. Second, there must be some code behind the form (or code in the form that's opening this one) that is "dirtying" one of the fields on the form. Access will automatically save that record when you close the form.

Anyone,
I have an issue with my form. Every time I open up the main personnel form it will creates a blank record. Basically the form has information about employees. If I open it and then immediately close it a new blank record is created. Can anyone help with this?

Steve
