I don't know if the SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) can recognize an attachment as a BLOB or not. The Assistant is designed to deal with the differences between Access and SQL data. It certainly won't hurt to give it a try. 

Be sure to click on the "Show More" under the list of SSMAs. For some reason the latest one (6.0) is not shown.
