RE: [MS_AccessPros] Re: MS Access 2003 and SharePoint 2007

Are you familiar with the Trusted Locations? You may need to add the path of the database to either or both of Access and SharePoint.

I'm getting ready to upgrade to MS Access 2010, its just funny that the front end opens and runs, a test back end opens and is ok, but when I put a link to an unsplit db, it asks for permission to run the app and when I click on run, it goes into limbo land.

In fact, it isn't until Access 2010 and SharePoint that things start working better. From what I hear, Access 2013 does an even better job.

This test database was not split, and is the same database I used for the front end link. However, when I try to open this database, I get a warning saying it is from an unknown publisher and asked if I wanted to run the application or not. I clicked on run, however, the database never opens. I can see that the .ldb is established, but it never opens.
