Darrel make sure the Event is set in the properties of the sub forms form at design time to "[Event Procedure]" this is just a text value set in the property of the form but the code can exist in your module and never fire if the Event procedures form Property is Blanked.
This may be what is causing your perception of it not firing
it may be detached not linked to the form any more.
