RE: [MS_AccessPros] MS Access too slow on new remote (hyper v) computer

Our custom application is very large MDB file linked to SQL Server 2012.
It is being in use for more than a decade and we've been adding new functions into it during this time.

I understand there can be many things in that application that can be improved such as extensively using Views or Stored Procedures instead of Access queries to improve performance.

Having said this, I gave that tool's example to let you know there's something that makes Access slow.
I am clueless what can be done.

What could cause an Access file to become slow with no apparent reason?
