Re: [MS_AccessPros] Sharepoint/Access

Hi Bill,

I expect there are lots of resources available for SharePoint if you google it.

You might want to check https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Should-I-create-an-Access-app-or-an-Access-desktop-database-497fd86b-e982-43c4-8318-81e6d3e711e8 to see if you want to consider moving an application to SharePoint.

support.office.com
Feature. Access web app. Access desktop database. Templates. Web app templates are available through the Office store and in Access when you create an Access web app.
There are a lot of limitations regarding an Access Web App such as lack of VBA. There are also some nice benefits.

Regards,
Duane

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Sharepoint/Access

I have two quick questions about Sharepoint and Access?

  1. Is there a Sharepoint Group similar to this Access Group that anyone knows about.   I need a few tips.
  2. I believe an Access Database can be published to Sharepoint so it can be used from multiple locations.  Is it possible just move a desktop database up to Sharepoint or will I have to build it all over again.

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.
