Re: [MS_AccessPros] Requery

David-

I believe when you requery lst1, that resets its value, so yes, you should requery 2 and 3 when that happens.  Setting (or resetting) a value from an action in code does not fire the After Update event.

When I have a form with multiple combos or list boxes, I am not certain when I have to requery them.

For example, I have lst1, lst2 and lst3 on a form, and in the after update event of lst1, I requery lst2 and lst3.  In the after update event for lst2, I requery lst3.

I have a cmd button where I add a record to lst1, and within the cmd button statements after the add form is closed, I requery lst1.  Does the after update event on lst1 cause requerying of lst2 and lst3.  Or do I specifically have to requery those lists?
