I have a small mess I created via the learning by doing process. I have three applications that sort of grew from each other. I copied one application (with tables), renamed it, and proceded to build the new application. I now know that was not what should have been done and want to correct my sins.
I have three applications. Some of the tables are common to all three applications; some common to two. Some of the common tables have exactly the same data, but different table names. In a couple of cases one table has more data than the others.
I want to split the applications from the tables and point them to a common folder.
What is the least painful process to do this?
