I did not experience that problem at all.  One thing I did do was look at your code and compile and save it before I ran the test.

When there is no data Access stalls.

By stalls, I mean I can no longer able to select, edit or open even focus anything within Access container..

The ACCDB file was created from scratch, not converted from 2003 to 2007 by wizard of any kind.
