[MS_AccessPros] Re: MS Access 2013 on Windows 10

Steve - Make sure you have all the Windows updates installed. A lot of Office things broke with the Windows 10 upgrade.

One of the things I can suggest to anyone else who is going to upgrade is to say "Yes" to the part that asks you if you want to get all the updates during the install. It will take longer but you will hve fewer, if any, problems.

A2013 running on formerly-Win7 which was just hijack upgraded to Win10, no longer works. Access 2013 just shuts down immediately after start up, whether double-clicking on the accdb file or just opening Access from Start/Run.

Anyone here have any experience with this? (IIRC, is 32-bit Access on 64-bit OS.)

thanks,
