Re: [MS_AccessPros] Unbound Attachment control

Hi Steve,

My preference would be to store the filename and if it an image, use the
image control which can have a control source that renders to a path and
filename. Otherwise, there are the unbound and bound OLE object
controls (I do not use them)

I don't like the attachment data type. Instead of storing attachments
in the database, I hang a directory (or directories) below the database
where they all go -- and they stay in external files where they are more
manageable and can be referenced on multiple records without duplicating
them. Store path and filename and use Application. FollowHyperlink
sPathfile to open files ~

warm regards,
crystal
