Hello all,
We have a yearly process that we need to get approvals from supervisors for phones being used by employees. Right now we have to merge data from different sources, (working to fix that). We merge the sources and then send an excel file to the financial director to send out to the supervisors to have the supervisor approve phones. The supervisors open the excel file attachment and mark approve or not approved in a cell and send the file back to the director. This seems so silly. We already have a way to send emails to the employees to remind them annually to go to a website and fill out a form.
But I digress. Is there any solutions to use to have the approval done directly from Access so we can bypass this archaic process we are using? I thought of using the data collection in Access, but it does not show data for supervisors to see what to approve. It is a blank form for recipients to enter data.
I thought of a web database but that is beyond my skillset. And I would not know where to store it. I think that would need SharePoint to work. Our department has no access to SharePoint right now.
Thank You for any assistance
