[MS_AccessPros] Input form question

 

I have a table with CONTACTS and a separate table for EMAILS. I use a separate table because many people have more than one email.  However, occasionally,  I will not have the email address when I am entering contact data.


I created an input form to enter the CONTACT fields and the EMAIL fields.  However, it appears if I leave the EMAIL fields blank, I get a null record assigned to the CONTACT_ID in the EMAILS table.


Is there a way of not creating an entry to the EMAIL table if I don't fill in those fields?
