Hello all,
We have a database that has a linked table to another database. We use that linked table to build some reports using the linked table and some local tables in the database. Today we had the experience of a user was in the database that stores the linked table. This is not a FE/BE situation. Then another user tried to run a process on the database with the linked table and it crashed because the database is locked.
How does this happen? We have other FE/BE databases where linked tables never cause issues with the FE's with linked tables. .
