RE: [MS_AccessPros] Re: Query or a report?

Jan,
You can visit our group on the web and upload files to https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/MS_Access_Professionals/files/2_AssistanceNeeded/.

If your table is linked, it is best to import the file into the uploaded file. Otherwise you need to upload multiple files.

No attachment. I don't know how or I don't have access to upload a file.

Hi Duane:

I just checked out the crosstab query.  It appears to allow me to put up to three fields of information on the left hand side and one field of information as a column across the top.

I set the rows to be unique for  Contact_ID, Contact_Lastname,Contact_Firstname and email for column.

It put every email I have across the top as column headings with the number of occurrences for each row.

Looks like a pivot chart on steroids but not what I am seeking.

I uploaded an example of what I want to get out. look at the email and status columns.  Right now, I get one line for each email and one for each status with Name and address duplicated.

Thanks...
