Hi Duane:
That did it. Datasheet view looked better than continuous and now I know how to find and change that.
Thanks

Jan,
I would expect your Tag subform would be either continuous or datasheet view. You should see previous Tag values with a blank record at the bottom for new Tags.

Hi Duane:
Yes, I have a table to set up the tag itself and then a junction table of Contact ID and Tag. I can go into the table directly and add as many tags per ID as I wish but the form overwrites.
Thanks

Jan,
Do you have a separate junction table for person/tags? This table would contain one record for each tag for each person. If a person was tagged as Hostile and Volunteer, there would be 2 records in the junction table.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Form input with multiple values for a field
I am inputting data using a form with 3 sub forms. One is for tags. (Attended fundraiser, Volunteer, Hostile, Donor, etc). I notice that when I input to the form, it overwrites the tag that is in my "status" table. I don't want to overwrite, I want to add tags to the record.
How can I do this?
Thanks
