Thanks for the thoughtful post, Antonio. Access has been a wonderful tool to work with. Every database application presents new and challenging requirements. Every time I get a new challenge, I dive into it knowing it's going to be fun. I've even had to go so far as to put an Outlook reminder on my work PC that pops up telling me it's time to go home.
Right now I'm moving into a new area as a Caché System Manager, a job about as different from Access as I've ever done. Everything is done at a Linux command line and the learning curb is steep and difficult. But it, too, is rewarding.
Basically, this group keeps my Access skills honed although I can't participate as often due to workload, but as long as we have members like John, Crystal, Duane, et al, I'm sure the group will continue to offer help to members around the world.
