RE: [MS_AccessPros] Error controlling Excel from Access

 

Alternately, it works when I run the macro inside the Excel file

xlApp.Application.Run "CPayReportTemplate.xlsm!FormatCPay"

I export it from Access into a file with the macro. The macro copies the sheets into a new workbook, non-macro enabled, formats it as desired, and then saves it without the macros.

This is much simpler. However, I'd still like to learn how to run the code from Access.
