You're asking an Access expert to debug Excel code. I just gave you my opinion about what might be wrong. Do you have the Excel library loaded? If so, then IntelliSense should give you an idea about what properties and methods apply. I always recommend using late binding for the production app, but during development, it's best to load the library to let it help you out.
