RE: [MS_AccessPros] Sending a link to an Access DB through Outlook

I found it.  I concatenate in an html string with the href link and set it to the mailitem.htmlbody for the send in VBA.

It's for workflow, so he doesn't have to know where to find the db to approve the purchase requisitions.

Hi Liz,

in Outlook when you are composing a message:

click on the INSERT ribbon

choose HYPERLINK from the LINKS group

paste the path\filename

Warm Regards,

Crystal

Greetings Pros,

My boss would like me to be able to send a link through Access to his outlook inbox for him to open the database on his phone.

I haven't a clue how to do this.  Does anyone have any direction for me?

Respectfully,
