adding on ... for those who want to go the other way ...
if you have a label that you want to associate with a textbox or other control:
in design view:
.1. cut the label
.2. select the other control
.3. paste
.4. reposition
if you want to move associated controls independently:
.1. click to select (or TAB from a selected control in the same section until what you want is selected)
.2. drag using the bigger square handle in the upper left

If you are referring to a label control that is "attached" to a bound control, you can select the label control and press Ctrl+X to cut the label control. Then press Ctrl+V to paste the label back onto your form. You will need to reposition the label.
