[MS_AccessPros] RE: SharePoint Services

Hello Jerry,

Would a Microsoft 365 subscription work?  It’s quite inexpensive (under $10/month I believe, though I personally pay for mine in yen) and would give you the opportunity to develop and test your application without too much outlay.  No need for your own, personal server then.

Hi again. Is this list primarily set up for desktop-based or Intranet
Access databases or are some of you producing Access databases for the
World Wide Web using SharePoint services? I'm having some difficulty
getting direct answers as to what I need to do in order to develop a
web-based Access database. I just had an online chat with Microsoft
directly and a Matthew W. told me I would have to buy a server! LOL!
I don't want to purchase my own physical server and I'm not ready to
immediately put something out on a site where I have to pay now. The
database needs to be developed first. Any concrete, detailed
suggestions on how I should proceed? I can't even begin to develop a
*/_web-based_/* Access database without a URL to link to.... Thanks!
