Thanks Glen. That will help - I didn't know about the runtime switch, I was looking around to install runtime on a access clean PC.

Also what do you mean by setting the recordsource & captions via a statement rather than in design view.
At the moment I have a PrintReport function that I pass the recordsource and the caption. It opens the report in design view, sets the recordsource & caption & prints to the default printer for that report. How would I do it not in design view?
