[MS_AccessPros] Re: VBA Project Cannot Be Read

Bill,

Not having any luck with this one. I did a system restore. That just put the PC out of sync with the network and I had to remove it from the domain and rejoin the domain. I also uninstalled Office and reinstalled office with no luck. Then I noticed that the new install did not have SP1, so I installed that. I also noticed that my laptop has these office updates: KB2687510, KB2597986 and KB2687501. When I can, I will try to download and install these. As for now, other things are calling me away. <grin>

I've had databases report corruption issues, but this was the first time I had an issue with the VBA project cannot be read.

Updates to this PC are controlled by our corporate IT department. It says this PC needs two .net framework updates but errors out when I tell it to install them. Do you know of a way to download and install Office updates without going through microsoft update?

It happens on every accde file I try to open that has VBA code. It appears to open an accdb file with no problems. Other workstations can copy and open the same accde files from the server with no problems. So I'm clueless at this point. Does anyone have an idea what might be this workstation's problem?
