RE: [MS_AccessPros] Display all records in subform datasheet

Deb-

Something funky is going on. Yes, a properly linked Datasheet form should show
all the rows related to the outer form record. The "Can't assign a value to
this object" message means you have a problem in the code or macro behind the
form(s). Can you copy and paste ALL the code from both the form and the subform
in a reply? When you get the error, do you see a Debug button? If so, you can
click that to see the offending line of code.

Subject: Re: [MS_AccessPros] Display all records in subform datasheet

Hi John,

I have the ID's linked on the form and the sub form. There is one line that
shows in the subform when I open the form, but when I go to make an entry on
that line it tells me that I can't assign a value to this object and then it
automatically adds a new line and I can make entries. I can't find any code
that would make data entry run, although I am very new at this so it may be
something I am missing.... Am I correct in understanding that when in
datasheet the subform should show all previous entries?

Thanks!

Deb
