[MS_AccessPros] Access 2003 Data Project to Access 2007

The company I work for is moving from Access 2003 to Access 2007 next month. We have an Access 2003 data project front end / SQL Server 2005 back end that is mission critical and heavily used. The data project is mostly for display of read only data and reporting. There are some updates made to the SQL tables, mostly appended records. All data displayed in the data project is from SQL views and stored procedures are employed for all data updates.

I understand that 2007 doesn't support data projects. I would appreciate any recommendations on how to best make this migration. My main concern is what is the most reliable and secure way to connect to the SQL views and call stored procedures that require parameters to be passed. I know I can use pass though queries for the views but I'm not sure if this is recommended.

I have searched the archived messages in this group but haven't been able to find exactly what I'm looking for. All input will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob
