[MS_AccessPros] Report driving me crazy!

 

Hello to everyone.

I need to make a report but I'm still having problems. I would like someone to take a look at the db and tell me how to make the report I need.

I need a report with the following info...

Company Name, Company's account and ID numbers, Company status, Notes, address, contact person for that address, inventory for that address.

A customer/company might have more than one address so I would need to have the contact and inventory grouped by the address. Example...

Auto Zone
Id: 00001
Account Num:001-002
Notes: "Allways bill on 30 days term"

Address 1..............
Contact: John Doe
Inventory: ......................
................
...............

Address 2.............
Contact: Jim Smith
Inventory: ......................
................
...............
End of example.

Now, the report must only have the customers that have a user selected status and a specified city. Also, it must be the customers that recieved service in a specified month. If you look at the customer detail form you'll see that each inventory has a service subform. I need the report to show me the customers with a specific month in the last record in the service subform.

The purpose of this report is so I'll know what customers I need to visit in a given city for next month and what inventory (fire extinguishers) should recive service on that date, since it might be the case that not all inventory items might need service on the same month, but I only need to see the ones that do need service. Also a specific inventory might had service on september in 2009 and in august of 2010, so the next service date would show august of 2011, wich is the one I need to use to populate the report.

PLEASE, someone help me out. the file is in Assistance needed, called Fire Service Pro. (Access 2007)
