God Morning,
I did a little digging and a lot of google searching and came up with what I think is the solution. I say think, because it’s working now. The SSMA_Timestamp field had lost its setting between import and exports to get the data in the way we wanted. Once I set the time-stamp correctly, the error did not reappear. I did wonder why “check” the time-stamp[ field isn’t one of the top 10 reasons for a write error. Maybe because I am a nubie and self-taught, it was a most would not make, but it seems like it should go along with “check the permissions”, etc. anyway, I am glad this forum exists and you might see more “silly” questions.

Write error on SQL be-Access fe

Afternoon,
Can someone help me identify and solve an issue I am having with one table in a fe-be database? The table has a primary key and we don't get the write error all the time, so it’s got to be something that is being triggered, but I can't find the problem. Sometimes it occurs when you move to add another record and sometimes it won't let you edit an already existing record. I rebuilt it at least twice. Not sure what to do next.
Thanks in advance,
Marybeth

Maybe the problems is with the FE and not the table. Does this happen with all FEs? Have you tried importing everything into a new, blank FE?
Is the table being edited directly or are you using a form?
