Hi Crystal
Robin didn’t want to share his database publicly, so we took this offline. The fix was simple – he had a PageBreak control in the Zone footer, and it had a small amount (about 0.6mm) of white space below it, so the footer of Zone N broke to a new page, then the header reprinted, then the last 0.6mm of white space printed before Zone N+1 could start.
It was fixed by deleting the PageBreak control (in fact the whole footer section, as it had nothing else in it) and setting ForceNewPage for the header to “Before Section”.
Warm regards,
Graham

Hi Robin,

Set the Repeat Section property of both header sections (in the Format tab) to Yes.

Hi Robin
Something is making the report formatter think that there is still part of the Zone 1 detail to be printed when you get to the first page of Zone 2.
Does the previous page print all the way to the bottom? Is your Detail section higher than it needs to be?
Perhaps you could upload a cut-down version of the database (with sanitised data if necessary) that exhibits the problem.
Cheers,
Graham

G'day Graham,
The ForceNewPage property is set to "None".
To explain the use of the word the grouping is on "Zones".
The Zone 1 header shows together with Zone 2 header on the first page on the Zone 2 pages. The second page is correct. This fault continues on the second page of each Zone.
Cheers,
Robin

Does your Zone Header section have the ForceNewPage property set? If so, what is its setting?

Hi Robin
I’m not sur e what you mean by “zones”. Is [Zone] the grouping field to which the header applies?

OOOPS!!! I counted chickens too soon! The headers are for various zones and the header for Zone 2 also has a Zone 1 header. This continues through all zones. It only happens on the first page of each zone.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Page Header in a report
I am using Access 2013. I have a report that produces data in groups.
I use a group header. Some groups spill over to a second page. How do
I get the group header on the second page?
Many thanks,
Robin Chapple
