[MS_AccessPros] White space between records in a report

 

I am using Access 2013. I have a report where I lose the descenders
if I make the report with more records on a page. When printed the
characters, without descenders, are 3mm high and there is a white
space of 4mm between records. This appears to be out of balance. Is
there anything that I can do. I do NOT plan to use a smaller font size.
