Re: [MS_AccessPros] Requery Combo in Subform

David-

What is providing the automatic prompts is something called "Intellisense".  But it only knows about properties within the current object.  When you type Me., you get a list of all the properties and methods of the form in which you are working.  After you select the subform control name, you get a list of properties of the control (I'm not sure that even Form is in the list).  After you type or select Form, you're on your own because you're now outside the current object.

Thank you again.  That makes it work.
so little time, so much to learn...

Can you tell me why the VBE will not prompt me and allow me to select, as opposed to free typing?
