Hi Art,
if the control is a combobox you can do this:
me.activecontrol.dropdown
choices for your menus can be stored in tables

Is there a way to create a drop down menu in Access? On my form I have created a toolbar effect using a box control and command buttons But I would like to incorporate a dropdown menu effect also. See if I can kind of give you what I want:
************************************
* MY WORKSPACE ^ *
************************************
You click on it and a drop down menu appears
********************************
* Document Classes *
********************************
* Document Views *
********************************
* Checked Out Documents *
********************************
* Hot Links *
********************************
* Announcements *
********************************
* Discussions *
********************************
* Bookmarks *
********************************
* Search Notes *
********************************
* Exception Logs *
********************************
I know a poor representation but I hope it gives you some idea of what I am after.
Thank you,
