Re: [MS_AccessPros] Application defined, or object defined error

Adam-

That's usually a library problem.  On a machine where you're getting this, open the VB Editor, then choose References from the Tools menu.

If that looks OK, could be some minor corruption.  Try creating a new blank database, then import all the objects from the old one.  Be sure to compile the VBA project, save, then compact / repair after doing this.

I get the message "Application defined, or object defined error" intermittently when closing and (I think) opening forms via VB. It's in an Acess2000 application. I think this started about the time they upgraded their OSs from XP to Win7, but I'm not sure. Since the application was supposed to be replaced, after the company I developed for was purchased, and since the application worked fine otherwise, we didn't feel like it was worth my time fixing it. However, 2-1/2 years later, they're still using the app.

Any ideas what may be causing this and how to fix it?
