you could use Azure
Sharepoint may work. If your client has Office 365 with SharePoint hosting, you could set up an Access App with the data structures you need to share and link to them provided there is a way to make the link readable too -- exploring that, or maybe someone else has figured out how to change the connect string .
Otherwise, of course, you could update the field data in the field using an Access App.

I know this subject has been discussed before. I did not see any solution to my need:
Run Access DB BE in the 'cloud' (because clients does not own a server) and Access 'FE' on the local computer.
From the discussions and watching Crystal's presentation, my understanding is that Sharepoint will not work.
Is there anything that will work?.
